Drew Walker, Chief Executive Officer   Drew brings valuable experience working in energy technology start-ups. As a senior engineer for 24M Technologies, Drew was responsible for product design, specifications and development of their new novel energy storage system. Most recently, he worked in Amazon’s Advanced Technology group where he led development of a new automation technology for fulfillment sorting and packaging. Drew has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University and is currently pursuing an MBA and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at MIT. Drew will champion financial management and licensing negotiations.

Alvin Tan, Chief Technology Officer   Alvin has an early career track record in innovation, and was named one of Illinois’ Fifty for the Future. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at MIT. Prior to MIT, he was a materials engineer at a defense company and adjunct scientist at the National University of Singapore. Having held dual appointments in industry and academia, Alvin played key roles in technology transfer activities. His academic work collectively has more than 400 citations. Alvin has Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University. With his expertise and life-long passion for modernizing materials, Alvin serves as our Chief Technology Officer.

Gabriel Loke, Chief Product Officer   Gabriel is an expert in adding novel functionality to traditional fiber technology. Emily Stinson, Chief Business Development Officer   Emily previously worked as a Civil Engineer and Technical Program Manager for Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E) where she was responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team of consultants, engineers, O&M, and construction personnel to oversee the civil infrastructure assets in PG&E’s 3,900 MW hydroelectric fleet spread across California. Her role also entailed working with the various California water companies and municipalities who also shared rights to same waterways. Prior to working for PG&E, Emily received a Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a minor in Sustainable Energy from Princeton University and is currently pursuing an MBA and Master’s in Civil and Environmental Engineering at MIT. In addition to her connections through work, Emily comes from a family of civil and environmental engineers with over 50 years of experience in water treatment. With substantial connections in the water industry, Emily will lead business development.
